ARA-----------------------------A speeding truck crushed to death a youth near Tenduni Chowk under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Piro State Highway when he was trying to cross the road. The deceased was identified as Babloo Sah alias Pintu Sah 32 son of Harihar Sah of Tenduni village. Irate villagers blocked the Bihia-Piro State Highway near Tenduni Chowk with the body of the deceased and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They raised slogans against the district administration, demanded compensation for the family of the deceased and arrest of the driver of the truck. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officials. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Jagdishpur police station Raj Kishore Singh said that Babloo Sah alias Pintu Sah was crossing the road when a speeding truck knocked him down and killed him on spot. The driver of the truck escaped from the spot but the police seized the truck at Piro.
