YOUTH CRUSHED TO DEATH

Ara, 1 June 2023, (RNI): One teenage boy was crushed to death near Kharaicha village under Gadhani police station on Ara-Arwal main road in the evening on May 31, 2023. The deceased was identified as Ankush Yadav 14 son of Kamlesh Yadav of Banaili village under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police seized the oil tanker though the driver escaped from the scene. The deceased passed the matriculation examination in the year 2023 and was to take admission in the intermediate.

SHO Gadhani police station said that Ankush Yadav was going to Rampur village under Sandesh police station on his motorcycle to attend a marriage ritual there when a speeding oil tanker collided head-on with the motorcycle and injured the youth. The locals informed the Gadhani police station and the police rushed the injured to the Ara Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
