YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE IN ROHTAS DISTRICT

Sasaram, 21 June 2023, (RNI): Rohtas police recovered a body of a youth and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Jairam Rajwar alias Chhotu 20 son of Daroga Rajwar of Dharupur village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district.

SHO Bikramganj police station Bishwambhar Prasad said that he got information that a youth climbed up a tree at Dharupur village and committed suicide by hanging himself to a branch of the tree. The SHO said that the police found the body from his house where the family members said that on information, the cut the rope and took out the body from the tree and brought it to the house. The family members said that someone killed Chhotu and later hanged the body to a branch of the three to give a colour of suicide. The SHO said that as the application from the family is received regarding any contradiction of death of the youth, the police would investigate the matter.
