YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA--------------------------One youth committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of his house at Sedaha village under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Chitranajan Paswan 27 son of Jai Mangal Paswan of Sedaha village under Tarari police station. Several bruises and marks of cuts were found on his body and so the family members blamed his friends of killing him by hanging him to the ceiling of the house. An FIR was lodged with the police under Tarari police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.

Dinesh Paswan, father-in-law of the deceased said that Chitranjan Paswan had gone to his relative on the eve of Makarsankranti and he had returned home on January 14, 2025. He went out of his house saying that he would return in an hour and after that his wife retired to her room to sleep. She woke up at about 9pm and opened the door of her room, Chitranjan Paswan was lying on the courtyard dead. She raised an alarm. Hearing her cry, other family members gathered there and rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead. Dinesh Paswan blamed three friends of his killing by hanging him to the ceiling.

SHO Tarari police station Pradeep Kumar Bhashkar said that Chitaranjan Paswan had tiff with his wife in the night over some trivial issue and so in a fume, he committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of the room. He said that the exact reason of the death would be ascertained after the postmortem report.
