YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE

Ara, 4 June 2023, (RNI): One youth committed suicide by hanging to the grill of a window of a government school at Babubandh village under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Amit Kumar son of Dashrath Kumar of Babubandh village. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. Police are investigating the matter.

SHO Chauri police station said that a marriage ceremony was being solemnized in the house of Niranjan Pal at Babubandh under Chauri police station and the marriage party was stationed at the government school where someone killed Amit Kumar and hang his body to the window of the school. The SHO further said that when the family members of Amit Kumar did not see him in the house, they searched for him everywhere and in the morning, they found body of Amit Kumar was hanging to the window of the school. They informed the police. On information the police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
