YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE

Ara, 7 January 2023, (RNI): One youth committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan in his bedroom at Panchwati Nagar locality under Bihia police station. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Chhote Lal Kumar 19 son of late Kapil Yadav. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter.

SHO Bihia police station said that Chhote Lal Kumar worked in a factory in Ahmedabad and had come to his village about a month ago. He was suffering from depression after he was not married to a girl of his choice. He had gone to his bed in the night and when his mother went to wake him up, no response came and so the family members peeped through the window and found his body hanging to the ceiling fan. They broke into the room and took down the body and informed the police.

The SHO said that Chhote Lal Kumar loved a girl of Mughalsarai and wanted to marry her. As the girl belonged to other caste, his family members were not ready for the marriage. The refusal of marriage cause quarrel in the family and since he was in depression.
