YOUTH BEATEN TO DEATH IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

Ara (RNI) One youth was beaten to death at Rashulpur village under Charpokhari police station of Siyadih Panchayat in Bhojpur district in the name of stealing of bicycle. The deceased was identified as Upendra Kumar 26 son of Baijnath Ram of Rasulpur village. Later the recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Charpokhari police station against four persons, Satyendra Sah and Birendra Sah sons of Sewak Sah and their two sons Santu Sah and Pintu Sah of Rasulpur village on the statement of Santosh Ram, elder brother of the deceased. The police arrested two of the named accused and sent them to jail after interrogation.

Piro DSP Rahul Singh said that some villagers thrashed Upendra Kumar on the charge of stealing of a bicycle and badly injured him. The family members rushed him to the CHC, Charpokhari but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The DSP said that the police arrested Santu Sah and Satyendra Sah and sent them to jail after interrogation and added that the police are conducting raids to arrest the rest two named accused.
