YOUTH BEATEN TO DEATH AT ARA
One youth was beaten to death at Sankat Mochan Colony under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district today.
Ara, 14 May 2023, (RNI): One youth was beaten to death at Sankat Mochan Colony under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district today. The deceased was identified as Mahish Kumar, a teacher and son of a retired Sub-Inspector Gopal Jee Singh of Sankat Mochan Colony. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO Nawada police station said that marriage of a teacher, Mahish Kumar son of a retired Sub-Inspector, Gopal Jee Singh of Sankat Mochan Colony under Nawada police station was settled at Pachma village under Piro police station and the marriage was to be solemnized on May 15, 2023. But on May 14, 2023, just a day before the marriage, his own uncle, aunt and cousin brother thrashed Mahish Kumar with iron rod and badly injured him. The family members rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical /College and Hospital in precarious condition but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the PMCH.
