ARA---------------------------One young farmer drowned into the Dharmawati river near Brahmsthan at Bimari village under shahpur police station in Bhojpur district in the evening on September 9, 2024 when he was going to bring fodder. The locals took his body from the river and informed the police. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Pankaj Kumar 22 son of Ramesh Gond of Ward No 4 of Bimari village under Shahpur police station.
Ramesh Gond said that Pankaj Kumar along with some youths of the village had gone towards Dharmawati river to bring fodder in the evening on September 9, 2024. All the youths except Pankaj Kumar returned home with the fodder. When he did not come till late in the night, family members searched for him and fond his towel lying near the river and he was floating in the river. Later with the help of villagers, his body was taken out of the river. The family member informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
