WORK ON INSTALLATION OF SOLAR LIGHTS IS GOING ON SNAIL’S PACE
Work of installing solar street light in Buxar district is going on snail’s pace. A total of 5440 solar street lights were to be installed in 1 to wards of 136 panchayats till November 2023 but only solar street lights were installed only 544 wards of Buxar district. A fortnight has passed in the month of October, only 880 street lights have been installed. Now the question is as to how will 4560 solar street lights be installed in just two months while this is the one of the most ambitious plans of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The work of installing solar street lights has started from the month of May this year. Two agencies have got the responsibility of doing the work through BREDA company in which Solex Private Limited Company was to complete this work in Buxar till November but due to slow pace, the solar street lights could not be installed till the stipulated time. Solex Private Agency has to install solar street lights in Buxar and the Sun Adan Solution Private Limited Company has to install the solar street lights in Dumraon.
