WOMAN NARRATED HER WOES BEFORE THE POLICE

Bhabhua, 24 February 2023, (RNI): A woman narrated her ordeal before the police under Mohania police station saying that her husband jilted her and sought help.

Amrital Kushwaha of Gazipur in Uttar Pradesh told the police that Munna Paswan of Mohania under the same police station in Kaimur district frequently visited the house of his aunt there which is beside her house. She had given her money and mobile number for the recharge of her mobile one day and since he often called her. After some days, they were in love and went on dating several times and also lives in relationship for about four years. Later they tied a nuptial knot in the court two years ago. Now he left her and also switched his mobile and now he is about to marry another girl. She went to his house but his father told her that he would keep two wives. She said that he should come to her and accept but he did not face her. She further said that he should explain as to why he cheated her and also why he was marrying with another girl. She said that he exploited her physically and his mother and sister always thrashed her too. She appealed the police to help her so that his second marriage could be stayed and she could get justice.
