WOMAN BURNT TO DEATH
One middle aged woman was burnt to death at Suhia village under Shahupur police station in the late night on March 8, 2023.
Ara, 9 March 2023, (RNI): One middle aged woman was burnt to death at Suhia village under Shahupur police station in the late night on March 8, 2023. The deceased was identified as Bimala Dom 56 wife of Nanhak Dom of Suhia village under Shahpur police station. The police could recover the body only after arrival and positive response of the SDPOP, Jagdishpur, Rajiv Chandra Singh and other police officials and the CO, Shahpur Shreya Mishra and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Family members blamed that Bimla Dom had some quarrel with her neighbour in the morning during Holi. When she was sleeping in her hut, someone set blaze her hut and she was burnt alive while sleeping. On the other hand, the SDPO said that the police are investigating the matter and added that it is not clear yet as to how the hut caught fire.
