ARA-------------------------One married woman succumbed to her injuries during treatment at a Hospital in Patna. The deceased was identified as Mamata Devi wife of Manish Mahato who had already killed in a road accident.
SHO Bihia police station said that Manish Mahato of Bahera village under Jagdishpur police station along with his wife Mamata Devi and his six month old daughter was going to his village on his motorcycle from Khushihalpur village under Ara Muffassil police station via Bihia when he reached near Dharmkanta at Bihia Chaurasta under Bihia police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway 102, a speeding Magic collided the motorcycle head-on injuring Manish Mahato and his wife Mamata Devi badly while the minor daughter survived unhurt on September 26, 2024. After the accident, the driver escaped with the vehicle from the scene. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred them to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition where Manish Mahato died during treatment on September 27, 2024 while his wife Mamata Devi succumbed to her injuries today.
