ARA--------------------------One woman was stabbed and injured near Ara Municipal Corporation under Ara town police station. The injured was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured woman was identified as Jyoti Devi.
Badal, brother of Jyoti Devi said that Bhola Ram was married to Puja Devi but later he fell in love with his sister Jyoti Devi alias Toni and also tied nuptial knot with her. But Puja Devi always protested her husband’s second marriage with Jyoti Devi but Bhola Ram was determined to keep Jyoti Devi along with Puja Devi with him though Puja Devi was not ready. She along with her brother and mother, went to the residence of Bhola Ram at Maulaagh where she quarreled with him and warned not to keep Jyoti Devi. Later she came to his house near Ara Municipal Corporation and stabbed his sister Jyoti Devi and injured her. When Bhola Ram came there to intervene, they also thrashed and injured him.
