Gayatri Devi wife of Umesh Sah of Keshwan village under Piro police station lived at Anaith locality under Nawada police station with her family for the education of her children and for earning. She was married to Umesh Sah 32 son of Dilip Prasad of Keshwa village in the year 2015 and she has two sons Vivek 7 and Rishu 6 with the marriage.
Gayatri Devi said that when she was cooking for the family in the evening on July 21, 2023, her husband came in drunken stage and started beating her and the children. When he did not stop despite several refusals, she informed the police. The police came and arrested him.
