WHO IS RUNNING THE EXTORTIONN GANG IN THE ARA MUNICIPAL CORPORATION?

ARA------------------------Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), (in) famous for its exploits, is once again in the headlines. In broad day light, in the name of the AMC, illegal collection is being done at the tempo stand without any tender gnawing at the state exchequer due to this illegal collection and the syndicate involved in it is getting plump.

The matter came to light when Deputy Mayor’s representative of AMC, Saroij Singh came to the tempo stand near the Ara railway station where people were making illegal collection without any tender and order. He caught two persons red handed and informed the district administration. An FIR was lodged with the police in this regard against both of them. The AMC administration refrained from saying anything in this matter. The Municipal Commissioner, AMC flatly refused to any anything.

Now the biggest question is that when no tender was published for the tempo stand, under whose patronage is this illegal extortion is going on. Only the AMC administration can reply to this question but all the officials of the AMC have kept mum on this matter. This illegal extortion is causing a great loss to the AMC and the government exchequer on one hand while on the other, the persons and their big boss are getting plump. Once again the AMC administration has come under the fire and this fire cannot be extinguished till a tangible action is not taken against the responsible persons.
