Professor Thakur said that on the instruction of the High Court, officials of Education Department and Vice Chancellors and officials of the universities, the meeting took place at Maurya Lok Hotel in Patna. In the meeting called by the Education Department, both the parties expressed their views. The education department provided good breakfast and food to the people who came to the meeting and also gave gifts. He added that everything seemed to be fine. Meanwhile he came to know that the education department lifted the ban on the bank accounts of universities. He added that it was unfortunate that the government did not send money to the accounts of the universities for the pensions of the university employees and pensioners. Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department K K Pathak did not attend the said meeting. It was heard that he did not come due to back pain.
