Some unidentified miscreants stole weapons, jewelry, cash from the malkhana of the Sasaram Muffassil police station situated at the campus of the Sasaram Traffic Police Station. Chaos prevails in the police department following the incident. Rohtas SP ordered inquiry into the matter.

SASARAM----------------------Some unidentified miscreants stole weapons, jewelry, cash from the malkhana of the Sasaram Muffassil police station situated at the campus of the Sasaram Traffic Police Station. Chaos prevails in the police department following the incident. Rohtas SP ordered inquiry into the matter.
The Sasaram Muffassil police station was situated on the campus earlier but later it was shifted to the New building at Amra Pond area but the malkhana was left there as it is. Later the Sasaram Traffic Police Station was made on the campus.
Malkhana-in-charge Viresh Kumar Singh said that he had demanded senior officials to hand over the charge from time to time but his appeals fell into deaf ears. When he was not heard, he knocked the door of the Patna High Court but no action was taken from there also. After that, he also appealed to the Rohtas SP and the Shahabad DIG in this regard.
When the retired Sub-Inspector and Malkhana-in-charge Viresh Kumar Singh visited the traffic police station premises recently, he found the grill of the Malkhana broken and 50 to 60 weapons, live cartridges, jewelries and cash were found stolen from inside. He at once reported the incident to the senior police officials but still no concrete action has been taken due to which atmosphere of dissatisfaction prevails in the police department.
