Vigilance necessary for the prevention of eye flu: Dr. Ranjan.
Indirapuram. (RNI) Renowned Ophthalmologist Dr. Rajesh Ranjan said that there is a need to be vigilant for the prevention of eye flu.
Dr. Ranjan said this during an interview. It is a viral disease, which usually occurs every year during the rainy season, he said.
He said that there is a need to be careful for its prevention, such as the eyes should not be touched repeatedly with the hands, the pillows, handkerchiefs and other such things of the affected person should not be used by other members of the family and if possible, some distance should be kept. Clean water should always be used to keep the eyes clean.
In response to a question, Dr. Ranjan said that the problem of eye flu lasts for an average of 5 to 7 days. Some even take two weeks to recover. But there’s no need to worry about this.
Dr. Ranjan said that for eye flu there is some medicines, but it should be taken only with the advice of ophthalmologists. He said that this is necessary because the eye is delicate and priceless. LS.
