VILLAGERS ATTACKED POLICE, TWO INJURED
Villagers attacked the police team at Babhnauli village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur when the police went there to remove encroachment and pelted with stones on them in which two police personnel including a lady constable were injured.
Ara, 18 May 2023, (RNI): Villagers attacked the police team at Babhnauli village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur when the police went there to remove encroachment and pelted with stones on them in which two police personnel including a lady constable were injured. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. Police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. The police detained at least half a dozen persons for interrogation. The injured were identified as Hawaldar Ram Bahadur Sahani of Chaksindar village under Tazpur police station in Samastipur and a police constable Sarita Kumari of of Muzzaffarpur district are stationed at New Police Line.
SHO Ara Muffassil police station Sanjay Kumar Singh said that at the direction of Bhojpur district administration, a police team went to Babhanauli village under Ara Muffassil police station to remove encroachment there but the villagers attacked and pelted with stones on police team in which two police personnel were injured.
