Up SARPANCH BEATEN TO DEATH IN BUXAR VILLAGE
-Some miscreants beat to death Up Sarpanch at Chatpati village under Dhansoi police station in Buxar district. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Buxar, 5 June 2023, (RNI): Some miscreants beat to death Up Sarpanch at Chatpati village under Dhansoi police station in Buxar district. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Satya Narayan Ram. Up Sarpanch, Dhansoi panchayat. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. No FIR has been lodged with the police so far in this regard.
Satya Narayan Ram had gone to the field at Chatpati village under Dhansoi police station in Buxar district in the afternoon to attend call of nature where some persons came and thrashed him with traditional weapons. Speculating him death, they went away. After some time, Satya Narayan Ram regained consciousness, he somehow tried to go home but fell to the ground and died.
Rajnikant, son of the deceased said that his father had land dispute with some people of the village and they at last killed him.
SHO Dhansoi police station Gyan Prakash Singh said that the family members have not given application in this regard. The FIR would be lodged and action would be taken as they gave application. No one have not so far been arrested in this regard.
