UTTAR PRADESH DREADED CRIMINAL ARRESTED IN BIHAR

Bhabhua, 17 March 2023, (RNI): Kaimur police arrested a miscreant of Uttar Pradesh carrying award of Rs. Rs. 25000 on his head, from Uttar Pradesh and Kaimur border with Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). The miscreant was identified as Angad Rai alias Jhulan Rai son of Sarvdeo Rai of Sherpur village under Bhanwarkol police station in Gajipur district, Uttar Pradesh. At least 20 cases and gangster Act are pending against him in Gajipur district.

Kaimur SP Hridyakant said that the Kaimur police arrested Angad Rai in the evening with two bottles of Whisky and two bottles of bear. At least 20 cases are pending against him in Gajipur.

Informed sources said that the Uttar Pradesh government is taking stern action against the miscreants and also ordered encounter. To escape encounter, a sharp shooter bearing an award of Rs. 25000 on his head, Angad Rai, taking advantage of liquor ban in Bihar, got himself arrested on the border of Kaimur and Uttar Pradesh with IMFL. Angad Rai dictated Pappu Giri and Mahant Giri of Sadar Kotwali area in Gajipur not to go to court for witness against him and threatened them with dire consequences. Mahant Giri went to the Gajipur SP and requested safety of his life. At the direction of Gajipur SP, the Uttar Pradesh was hunting to arrest him and so he escaped from there and got himself arrested in Bihar.
