ARA (RNI) Worship and seminar were organized at the Friend’s Colony office under the joint auspices of Sri Sanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Surasari Seva Trust to mark the 2531th birth anniversary of Adi Guru Shankracharya Bhagwatpad. Dr. Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey presided over the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that when the whole work started suffering due to atheism and non-vedicness, Lord Shiva incarnate Adi Guru Shankracharya appeared on this earth. At the age of just 32 years, he uprooted the empire-serving atheistic religion by travelling the whole Aryavarta, organizing a strong organization, publishing commentaries and hymns, propagating the scriptures and purifying and coordinating many sects. He said whenever Vedic miracle is happening in the world today and our country India stands as a strong nation, all the credit for it goes to Lord Adi Guru Shankracharya. Pandey further said that by molding the entire Vedic philosophy as a gradual expression of truth-tolerance, he paved the way for Godly enlightenment even through atheistic and non-Vedic ones.
Prof. Baliraj Thakur said that Sri Shankracharya under the protection of four Peeths and four Acharyas in all four directions, organized religion, culture and society and disciplined the throne and made it beneficial for all. He further said that the divine stream of devotion of Krishna has flowed from Acharya Shankar and Surdas. In his works, the journey from philosophy to devotion is completed easily. Shiv Das Singh said that the country and culture can be saved only by remaining indebted to Adi Guru Shankracharya. On this occasion, classical singer Rakesh Mishra presented Nirvansshtakam composed by Shankracharya and verses from Sri Krishna Leena composed by Surdas Jee. Dr. Satya Narayan Upadhyaya conducted the meeting and Satyendra Narayan Singh extended vote of thanks. .
