ARA-------------------------A case of outraging modesty of a teenage girl no other than her uncle came out of closet after a named FIR was lodged with the police under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on the statement of mother of the girl. The police arrested the rapist with the help of villagers.
SHO Bihia police station said that a teenage girl of a village under Bihia police station had gone to her coaching institute at Bihia Bazaar and when she was returning home along with her friends when Toofani Yadav, uncle of the girl came in his Pick-Up van and made his niece sit on his pick-up with other girls. He dropped other girls at Jamuaw village and took his niece to a garden of the village where he outraged her modesty and escaped from the scene. The girl, after the incident, reached her home crying and narrated her woes to her family members. Hearing her ordeal, the villagers became agitated and when Toofani Yadav came to the village, caught and thrashed him and also handed him over to police. The police, later sent to him jail. The Police also brought the girl to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her in the Ara Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC.
