The problem of viral typhoid and jaundice in children vigilance is necessary Dr. Singh

New Delhi. (RNI) Well-known pediatrician Dr. RB Singh has said that these days the problem of viral, typhoid and jaundice is increasing in children, so vigilance is necessary.
Dr. Singh said this during an interview. He said that such problems occur every year, especially during the rainy season. Sometimes there are complaints of vomiting and diarrhea during this period, he added.
Viral fever usually occurs during this time, which usually gets cured in 5-7 days, for this there is no need to take any special medicine. Paracetamol can be used only if there is no excessive fever. In other cases, the medicine should be used only after consulting the doctors, said Dr. Singh.
Dr. Singh, who provided free medical treatment to children during the Corona period, said that such complaints are coming from both rural and urban areas, hence there is a need to be vigilant. Especially children should not eat outside food, use clean water and rest as far as possible or do not leave the house, because the problem of infection is more outside. If any member of the household is suffering from infection, then children should be kept away from them as well.
In response to a question, Dr. Singh said that no symptoms have been shown so far, that there is an effect of corona or that corona has started again, but vigilance is necessary. There are some or the other problems in children, such as being underweight and refusing to take nutritious food & that's why parents should pay special attention to these things, said Dr. Singh.
