Hardoi (RNI) Today, the meeting of the Zila Panchayat was successfully held in the Zila Panchayat Auditorium under the chairmanship of Premavati P.K. Verma, President, Zila Panchayat, Hardoi. The proceedings of the last meeting were confirmed in the meeting. The meeting unanimously approved the renaming of the Gram Panchayat Hajipur of the development block Bharawan of Hardoi district to Siyarampur. In this regard, Ashok Agarwal, Member, Legislative Council, present in the meeting, said that the total population of this village is 1118 and 209 families reside in the village. No Muslim family lives in this village. Therefore, the villagers will be very happy if the name of Hajipur village is changed to Siyarampur. The members present in the meeting decided regarding the construction work on 15 proposals of the Area Panchayat Shahabad that the Zila Panchayat gets the construction work done on the proposal of its members, in view of the availability of funds, the proposal for getting other work done was not agreed upon and the proposal was rejected. In the meeting, the proceedings of the meeting of the construction committee of April 11, 2025 were also approved. Apart from this, in the order of the decision taken in the meeting of Panchayati Raj Committee (2024-25), a unanimous decision was taken regarding the reconstruction of the dilapidated road from Sharda's house to Mallawan Sampark Marg in village Goswa of development block Mallawan. The proposal in support of one nation-one election was presented in the House by the Chairman, District Panchayat. He said that the main objective of one nation-one election is to conduct the elections of Lok Sabha and all the state legislative assemblies simultaneously, so that time, resources and administrative expenses can be saved and continuity is maintained in the development work of the country. Administrative officers can be exempted from repeated election duty. The proposal was passed unanimously by all the members present in the District Panchayat to pass this bill in the Parliament and give it legal form. Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the District Panchayat said that the rural area of ​​Hardoi district is continuously progressing on the path of development with positive energy under the guidance and inspiration of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that as the District Panchayat Chairman, I have done my best to deliver public welfare schemes to the last person while discharging my responsibilities with integrity and honesty. Ashok Agarwal, Member Legislative Council, Anokhilal, Area Panchayat Pramukh, Harpalpur, Sanjeev Gupta, Ravi Verma, Sarvendra Kumar Gupta, Deen Dayal Verma, Neelkamal, Pooja Devi, Pushpa etc. members and Chief Development Officer Saumya Gururani, Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Officer, Archana Rawat, Sub Divisional Forest Officer, K.K. Rathore, Executive Engineer, Electricity Department, Raj Kumar Maurya, Executive Engineer, PWD and District Level Officers were present in the meeting. The meeting was concluded with the National Anthem while thanking the members present. The meeting was efficiently conducted by Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Officer, District Panchayat.
