(Prashant Reddy)

Hyderabad (RNI) TPCC Spokesperson Dr Satyam Srirangam, speaking at a media conference organized at Gandhi Bhavan today. It was clarified that HCU had acquired the disputed lands from the erstwhile AP govt and in return, 397 acres had been transferred to the university. He said that the then registrar had signed this. The state government has made it clear that not a single inch of the 400 acres of land proposed for auction in Kancha Gachibowli is Hyderabad Central University (HCU) land, and that the ownership right to that land belongs to it. After the Revanth govt won the case in the Supreme Court and issued an order that is Telangana's property. He accused some politicians of misleading students for their self interests of real estate businesses. They cannot stand it when it is allocated for public needs. He said that KTIR has no right to talk about lands at all. They created fake documents in the name of Dharani and occupied and sold lakhs of acres of land. Since the lands have been in dispute for 19 years, trees have grown, and they are misleading people by saying that it is forest land. BRS and BJP are spreading false propaganda. They are provoking students, university student leaders should also take note, you should study in the university, we all entered politics from the student stage to stand up to the govt when we face difficulties and when we do not have facilities, he said. He said that under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, the 10-year economic disaster will be rectified and the party will take a wise step and moving forward he added.
