TWO YOUTHS WERE KILLED MERELY FOR A LITRE OF MILK IN BHOJPUR VILLAGES

Ara (RNI) Two youths were killed in Bhojpur district merely for a litre of milk today. The deceased were identified as Dharmendra Kumar 35 son of Ram Niwas Rai of Semara village under Badahra police station and Prem Singh alias Badak 21 son of Baleshwar Singh of Bindgawa village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Tension Prevails in and around the villages following the incident. Police are camping at the villages. The police recovered a rifle, one pistol from the incident site. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory has been requisitioned. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Badahara police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. 

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that as he got information about the double murder, he rushed to the Semara village and started investigating the matter. He said that residents of Semara and Bindgawa had clashed over a one litre of milk and culminated in double murder. He said that Dharmendra Kumar of Semara village and Prem Singh alias Badak of Bindgawa villages under Badahara police station were killed. He said that the miscreants would be arrested very soon.

Vikas nephew of Dharmendra Kumar said that his grandfather Ram Niwas Rai dealt in milk and he along with his uncle Dharmendra Kumar had gone to Bindgawa village on a motorcycle in the evening on March 15, 2025 to deliver milk where Manish Singh along with his aides came and demanded a litre of milk but Dharmendra flatly refused saying that he had no milk. It took an ugly turn they started hurling choices words and when Dharmendra Kumar and his father protested, they fired and killed Dharmendra Kumar on spot. In retaliation, family members of Dharmendra Kumar also shot dead Prem Singh alias Badak.
