TWO YOUTHS MET WATERY GRAVE IN THE RIVER GANGA
Two youths met watery grave while having a dip in the river Ganga at Majharia village under Industrial police station in Buxar district. The villagers somehow fished out their bodies from the river.
Buxar (RNI) Two youths met watery grave while having a dip in the river Ganga at Majharia village under Industrial police station in Buxar district. The villagers somehow fished out their bodies from the river. The deceased were identified as Rahul Kumar 18 son of Digvijay Kumar Singh of Majharia village and Sujit Kumar 19 son of late Veera Ram who lived in the house of his maternal grandfather at Majharia village. Later the police brought the bodies to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Industrial police station Avinash Kumar said that Rahul Kumar and Sujeet Kumar had gone to Umarpur Ganga Ghat at Majharia village to take bath. During bath, they were swept away in the fast current and were drowned. Hearing their cry, people who had come to nearby Ganga Ghat for the last rites of their family member, raised alarm and the with the help of other villagers, their bodies were fished out.
