TWO STUDENTS KILLED, THREE INJURED
Two students were killed while three other injured when their motorcycle collided head-on near Basgatia village on Bikramganj-Dumraon main road under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district.
Sasaram, 30 April 2023, (RNI): Two students were killed while three other injured when their motorcycle collided head-on near Basgatia village on Bikramganj-Dumraon main road under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district. The police seized the motorcycle cycles and brought the bodies of the deceased to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem though the locals have already admitted the injured to a private nursing home nearby. The deceased were identified as Amir Ali 20 of Bithawan village and Golu Kumar 22 of Jamsona village while the injured were identified as Sujit Kumar of Bithwan village, Raju Kumar of Dawath village Om Prakash of Jamsona. Condition of Raju Kumar is stated to be serious.
SHO Bikramganj police station Manoj Kumar said that Golu Kumar and Om Prakash of Jamsona village were going to Anjawit Singh College on a motorcycle to take examination of BA part II while Amir Ali, Sujit Kumar of Bithwan village and Raju Kumar of Dawath village were going to Dawath from Bikramganj on a motorcycle and when they reached near Basgitia village, both the motorcycles collided head-on and all the five youth fell to the road and became unconscious. The locals rushed them to the nearby hospital where Golu Kumar and Amir Ali succumbed to their injuries.
