TWO SISTERS THRASHED FOR PROTESTING ILLICIT RELATION

Ara, 25 May 2023, (RNI): Two sisters were thrashed and injured when the wife protested illicit relation of her husband at Krishnagarh Devaria village under Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district. The injured were identified as Priti Devi wife of Ranjan Kumar Singh and her sister Riya Kumari. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital.

Priti Kumari said that she was married to Ranjan Kumar Singh of Krishnagarh-Devaria village under Krishnagarh police station but her husband had illicit relation with a woman of the village. Whenever she protested his relation with the woman, he trashed her and so went to her father. She had come to her in-laws two ago with her sister Riya Kumari. She was standing at the gate of the house, when Ranjan Kumar Singh came and dragged her inside the house and called his called is cousin brother Mukesh Singh and he along with Mukesh Singh thrashed her badly. When her sister Riya Kumari came to her rescue, they thrashed and injured her too. She blamed her husband and the brother-in-law for thrashing her and her sister.
