ARA-----------------------Two girl students of Intermediate were killed while their father was badly injured when a speeding truck dashed the motorcycle near Belaur Bengala under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Arwal main road in Bhojpur district in the late evening on February 11, 2025 when they were going to their home after taking Intermediate examination. Later the driver escaped from the scene with the truck after the incident. The deceased were identified as Sushma 18 and her sister Rekah 17 daughters of Gaurishankar of Sundarpur village Ward No 1 under Sandesh police station. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
Gauri Shankar said that he along with his daughters Rekha and Sushma had come to the Dr. Nemi Chandra Sashtri Girls High School for their Intermediate examination. After the examination was over in the late evening, he was returning his village with his daughters on a motorcycle and when he reached near Belaur Bengala under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Arwal main road, a speeding truck dashed his motorcycle from behind killing both the sisters on spot and injured him.
