TWO PERSONS MET THEIR WATERY GRAVES IN BHOJPUR VILLAGES

ARA-----------------------One youth drowned in the village pond at Hetampur village under Tier police station while having a bath. The body could be fished out from the pond in the evening on August 21, 2023. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Bittu Kumar 19 son of Sikandar Singh of Hetampur village.
SHO Tier police station said that Bittu Kumar was a student of Intermediate and he had gone to the Shiv temple in the village for oblation. But prior to oblation, he preferred to have a dip in the pond. During bathing in the pond, he drowned in the pond. The villagers and the family members tried their best to find the body but in vain. In the evening, his body was seen floating on the surface of the pond and then the villagers could fish out the body.
In another incident, one minor boy slipped into the village pond while playing nearby at Bihata Azad Tola under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district and was drowned. The villagers fished out the body. The deceased was identified as Anshu Kumar 9 son of Dhan Jee Chaudhary of Bihata village.
