TWO PERSONS KILLED, FIVE INJURED
Two persons including one woman were killed while five persons including two minor children were injured when an auto-rickshaw and a tractor collided head-on near Reliance Petrol Pump at Dhanupura locality under Ara town police station in the afternoon on April 3, 2024.

The deceased were identified as Muneshwari Devi 54 wife of Baijnath Ram of Rasul Tola under Charpokhari police station and Dinesh Ram 55 son of Premchand Ram of Barani village under Charpokhari police station. The deceased were identified as Binod Ram 45 of Barai village under Charpokhari police station, his wife Indu Devi, minor sons Anshu Kumar 8, Mithlesh Kumar 3 and Baijnath Ram of Rasul Tola and husband of a deceased Muneshwari Devi. Tractor and auto-rickshaw drivers escaped with their vehicles from the scene after the incident. Police brought the bodies to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
SHO Ara town police station said that seven persons of Rasul Tola and Baruni villages under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district were coming to Ara in an auto-rickshaw and when they reached near Reliance Petrol Pump under Ara town police station in the afternoon today, a tractor collided the auto-rickshaw head-on killing two persons on spot while injuring five others.
