TWO PERSONS KILLED

ARA (RNI) Motorcycle borne carpenter died at Dubauli village under Gadhani police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway in the night. He was going to his in-laws after shopping. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Suraj Sharma 40 son of Ram Dayal Sharma of Chaturbhuji Baraw village under Piro police station in Bhojpur district.
Family members of the deceased said that Suraj Sharma had gone to Gadhani for shopping on his motorcycle. When it became, he was going to his in-laws at Kasap village under Udwantnagar police station but meanwhile, a speeding vehicle knocked him down near Dubauli village under Gadhani police station and injured. He was rushed to the Udwantnagar Community Health Centre but the doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
In another incident, a speeding tractor and JCB crushed a farmer to dead near Farana village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Ramjeet Singh alias Indal Singh 45 son of late Ram Lakhan Singh of Farana village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Krishna Singh, nephew of the deceased said that Ramjeet Singh alias Indal Singh had gone towards the outskirt of the village in the afternoon when a speeding tractor crushed him to death and later the JCB coming from behind also ran over his body. The police seized the tractor.
