TWO PERSONS KILLED, FIVE INJURED

SASARAM----------------------------Two persons including a teenage girl were killed while five other injured when Pick-Up van and an auto-rickshaw collided head-on near Jakhani Canal Bridge under Nokha police station in Rohtas district. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased were identified as Manu Devi 53 wife of Anil Kumar of Penr village and her relative Khushi Kumari 15 while the injured were identified as Pappu Sah 35 of Gopalpur, Ajit Kumar, Satyendra Singh of Gosaipur, Usha Devi, Shashikant Paswan of Nokha.

SHO Nokha police station said that over seven persons were going to Nokha from Sasaram in an auto-rickshaw in the evening and when it came near Jakhani Canal Bridge under Nokha police station, a speeding Pick-Up from Sasaram collided head-on killing two persons on spot and injured five others. Condition of Pappu Sah of Gopalpur village under Nokha police station is stated to be critical.
