TWO PERSONS ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH, THREE INJURED

Buxar, 27 February 2023, (RNI): Two labours were electrocuted to death after coming in contact with 1000 live electric wire while three others were badly injured in their bid to save them at Masariha village under Murar police station of Dumraon Sub-Division in Buxar district today. The police brought the bodies to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured to the Chaugai Primary Health Centre. Later the villagers informed the police about the incident. The deceased were identified as Antu Sah 34 son of former BDC Sachchidanand Sah and a labour Manoj Ram 33 of Mathila village.

SHO Murar police station Ravi Kant Prasad said that hand pump was being bored in the house of former BDC, Sachchidanand Sah at Masariha village under Murar police station in Buxar district. Meanwhile, the iron pipe came in contact with live 11000 electric wire passing overhead of the house killing Antu Sah son of Sachchidanand Sah and a labour Manoj Ram who were holding the pipe. Three other labours who came to their rescue, were also badly injured. The SHO said that police are investigating the matter after lodging an FIR in this regard and added that the deceased families and the injured labours would be given financial aid under government provision.
