Two persons were electrocuted to death at the outskirt of Amma-Narveerpur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district when they came in contact with a live electric wire. One cattle also was electrocuted to death.

ARA--------------------------Two persons were electrocuted to death at the outskirt of Amma-Narveerpur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district when they came in contact with a live electric wire. One cattle also was electrocuted to death. The deceased were identified as Arun Kumar Rai 41 son of Sadan Rai and Deena Nath Rai 45 son of Supan Rai of Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police and the police are investigating the matter.
Villagers said that the incident took place at the field of Krishna Singh at Narveerpur village under Chandi police station adjacent to Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station about 200 meter south to the Chalispulawa along the Ara-Patna rail line and the area is called ‘Matiparwa.’ They further said that the barns of crops were piled near the field and the owner of the field had put live electric wire on the barns to protect the harvested crops from the cattle and the thieves. Meanwhile, Arun Kumar Rai and Dina Nath Rai of Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station went there to bring fodder where they found their bull died near the barns. When they went near the barns, they were enmeshed and were electrocuted to death. After sometime, some farmers saw and informed the family members and even the police. On information, police arrived at the spot and recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
