TWO NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS SHERU SINGH AND CHANDAN PRODUCED IN THE COURT OF THE CJM AT ARA
Two notorious criminals languishing in the Purilia jail in West Bengal Sheru Singh and Chandan alias Prince were brought to Ara on the basis of production warrant and were produced in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ara Civil Court amidst tight security in connection with gold robbery in the Tanishq Showroom near Gopali Chowk under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. They were brought to Ara under tight security coverage from West Bengal and were said to be the mastermind in the Tanishq Showroom robbery. Security arrangement of the Ara Civil Court was also sounded and the Bhojpur SP Mister Raj visited the Ara Civil Court. The Bhojpur police gave a petition to the court of the CJM for their remand.

Omkar Nath Singh alias Sheru Singh is a resident of Dulahpur village under Simari police station in Buxar district while Chandan alias Prince is the resident of Majhauli village under Bidupur police station in Vaishali district. Both of them are presently languishing in the Purulia jail in West Bengal. Their names were figured as mastermind of robbery during police investigation regarding the Tanishq Showroom loot case on March 10, 2025. Police said that both of them had hatched a plan from behind the bar. A device was recovered from them in the jail that confirmed their involvement in the robbery. During interrogation of arrested miscreants, their names were figured. The police had filed a production warrant in the court of the CJM and the court issued the production warrant against them on March 26, 2025. On the basis of the production warrant, both ot them were brought to Ara from West Bengal and were produced in the court of the CJM at Ara. Now police have filed a petition in the court to take them on remand for interrogation.
