TWO MINOR SISTERS MET THEIR WATERY GRAVE IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA---------------------------Two minor girls met their watery grave while one minor boy is missing while having a dip in the river Sone at Andhari village under Chauri police station. Police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Chhatha festival was being celebrated in the house of Santosh Soni son of Baban Soni at Andhari village under Chauri police station and his brother-in-law (saala) Saroj Soni of Imadpur village along with his family members had come to Andhari village for Chhatha. At about midday, Gudiya Kumari 13, Tanu Kumari 10, Chhaya Kumari 9 daughters of Santosh Soni, Priya Kumari 13 Nishi Kumari 12 daughters of Saroj Soni and Golu Kumar 10 son of Ravindra Soni went to the Andhari Sone River to have a dip in the river. During having a dip in the river Sone, Golu Kumar started drowning. In their bid to rescue Golu Kumar, all the girls tried their best but all of them started drowning. The villagers nearby rescue Gudia Kumari and Tanu Kumari safely but Priya Kumari and Chhaya Kumari died while Golu Kumar is missing.

On information, ASP K K Singh along with police rushed to the spot. A team of SDRF and local divers have been pressed into operation to find out Golu Kumar.
