TWO MET WATERY GRAVE IN THE VILLAGE CANAL
-A grandfather and his granddaughter drowned in the village canal at the outskirt of Gopalpur village under Bhanas police outpost in Rohtas district
Sasaram, 24 July 2023, (RNI): A grandfather and his granddaughter drowned in the village canal at the outskirt of Gopalpur village under Bhanas police outpost in Rohtas district. Later the villagers fished out the bodies from the canal and informd the police. The police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased were identified as Saloni Kumari 8 daughter of Bhanu Kumar Gupta of Hatan village under Parsathu police station and Mukhalal Sah 70 of Gopalpur village.
SHO Bhanas police outpost Gudia Kumari said that parents of Saloni Kumari had gone to Sasaram for treatment and so they dropped their daughter at the residence of Mukhlal Sah, grandfather (Nana) of the deceased at Gopalpur about five days ago. Mukhalal Sah took his granddaughter to the outskirt of the village for a stroll where both met their watery grave abruptly in village canal.
