TWO LOVE BIRDS TIED NUPITAL KNOT IN PRESENCE OF POLICE

Buxar, 19 May 2023, (RNI): Buxar police played role of good Samaritan and became instrumental in marrying two love birds on the campus of the police station in presence of family members of both the parties.

One Muskan became widow after the death of her husband at Raksha Nagar village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district and she fell in love with a youth Suraj Kumar Sah of Brahmpur village under the same police station as she found it difficult to lead the live alone. She had a two years old child with her first marriage. She wanted to marry with her lover but her family members were against this marriage and the vehemently protested. They had talks on mobile long house and decided to live together. When all their efforts to persuade their family members, they fled away from their houses and reached Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. An FIR was lodged with the police under Brahmpur police station regarding kidnapping of the woman. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and recovered the love birds from Jamshedpur.

When the police queried, the woman said that they are in love and would live together. They wanted to marry but their family members were against this marriage and so they fled away from their houses and reached Jamshedpur.

SHO Brahmpur police station Baijnath Chaudhary said that called their family members on the police station and persuaded them and with their consent, both the love birds tied nuptial knot on the campus of Baba Brahmeshwar Nath Temple at Brahmpur in presence of police and their family members.
