TWO KILLED, ONE INJURED
-Two persons including a woman were killed while one injured when a speeding Scorpio collided head-on with a motorcycle near Mitthu Tola Mor under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in the late evening on Thursday.
Ara, 10 February 2023, (RNI): Two persons including a woman were killed while one injured when a speeding Scorpio collided head-on with a motorcycle near Mitthu Tola Mor under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in the late evening on Thursday. The driver of the Scorpio escaped with the vehicle. The deceased were identified as Nesara Ali 22 daughter of Nesar Ahamad and Taukri Khan 21 son of late Bismillah Khan of Chakwa village under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district while the injured was identified as Rozi Khatun 20 sister of Taukir Khan. Police brought the bodies to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Nesara Ali had gone to Bank of India along with her cousin brother Taukir Khan and cousin sister Rozi Khatun on a motorcycle at Bihia to activate her bank account. When they were returning home, a speeding Scorpio collided head-on with the motorcycle near Mitthu Tola Mor under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in which motorcycle borne all the three persons were injured. The driver escaped with the vehicle. Later the police admitted the injured to the Ara Sadar Hospital where Nesara Ali and Taukir Khan succumbed to injuries.
