SASARAM----------------------------At least two persons were killed while about two dozen injured when a speeding truck dashed a tractor from behind on NH-2 under Chenari police station in Rohtas district in the wee hour today. The deceased were identified as Bandhan Kumar son of Nachku Kahar of Umapur village under Bhagwanpur police station and Anil Bari son of Lal Mohan Rawat of Kudara under the same police station in Kaimur district. The police recovered the body and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
SHO Chenari police station said that over two dozen persons were going to Mahuadham in Aurangabad district from Umapur village under Bhagwan police station in Kaimur district on a tractor and when they reached on NH-2 under Chenari police station in Rohtas district, a speeding truck dashed the tractor from behind killing two persons on spot and injuring about two dozen persons on the tractor. All the deceased were from Umapur village under Bhagwanpur police station in Kaimur district.
