TWO COUSIN BROTHERS MET WATERY GRAVE
-Two cousin brothers were drowned in the river Ganga while having a dip in the river.
Buxar, 14 June 2023, (RNI): Two cousin brothers were drowned in the river Ganga while having a dip in the river. The deceased were identified as Himanshu Tiwari and Divyanshu Tiwari of Simari Rasopatti village under Simari police station in Buxar district. The police brought the bodies to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Four friends of Simari Rasopatti village went to the Keshopur Hanman Ganga Ghat in Buxar district to have a dip in the river. While bathing, all of them swayed away in the fast current of the river. Some villagers who were working in the field there, saw them and rescued two of them but two others were drowned. The villagers informed the family members of the deceased. They rushed to the spot and also informed the police. The police and the Circle Officer, Simari block arrived at the spot and requisitioned five local divers who after much efforts fished out the body. The CO said the families of the deceased would be given financial aid under legal process after the postmortem report is received.
