-A speeding vehicle knocked down three persons including an Angandbadi Sevika near Hardas Tola Petrol Pump under Jagdishpur district police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in which two cousin brothers were killed on spot while the Anganbadi Sewika was injured.

ARA------------------------A speeding vehicle knocked down three persons including an Angandbadi Sevika near Hardas Tola Petrol Pump under Jagdishpur district police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway in which two cousin brothers were killed on spot while the Anganbadi Sewika was injured. Police recovered the bodies and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured at Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. The driver escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle behind after the incident. The police seized the vehicle. The deceased was identified as Krishna Sao 78 son of late Ragho Sao and Vijendra Kumar 45 son of Chandradev Sao of Gaini village under Khudwa police station in Aurangabad district while the injured was identified as Lakhmuna Devi 55 wife of Mahendra Singh. She is posted at Aganbadi Centre at Ram Das Tola as Aganbadi Sevika.
SHO Jagdishpur police station said that Krishna Sao along with his cousin brother Vijendra Kumar was going to Bihia in Bhojpur district on his motorcycle to settle marriage of his daughter and when he reached near Hardas Tola Petrol Pump under Jagdishpur police station on Bihia-Bihata State Highway, a speeding Pick-Up collided head-on with the motorcycle and killed both the cousin brothers on spot. In his bid to escape from the scene, the driver of the Pick-Up van knocked down an Aganbadi Sevika and badly injured him. Later the driver escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle behind.
