TWO CONSTABLES DISMISSED, DISMISSAL OF AN ASI RECOMMENDED
-Rohtas SP dismissed two constables with immediate effect while recommended dismissal of an ASI to the DIG, Shahabad zone in connection with dereliction of duty, indiscipline and corruption. The dismissed constables were identified as constable No 286 Sunil Kumar and constable No 1061 Manoj Kumar. Dismissal of an ASI Naresh Kumar Chaudhary has been recommended to the DIG, Shahabad.
Sasaram, 26 March 2023, (RNI): Rohtas SP dismissed two constables with immediate effect while recommended dismissal of an ASI to the DIG, Shahabad zone in connection with dereliction of duty, indiscipline and corruption. The dismissed constables were identified as constable No 286 Sunil Kumar and constable No 1061 Manoj Kumar. Dismissal of an ASI Naresh Kumar Chaudhary has been recommended to the DIG, Shahabad.
Rohtas SP Vinit Kumar said that the constable Sunil Kumar had gone on sanctioned leave for six days but he did not join the duty 386 days without information and so he was dismissed while Manoj Kumar was dismissed for teasing a girl student in the case no 534/19 Bikramganj police station. The SP further said that the ASI Naresh Kumar Chaudhary is a named accused in Karakat police station case no. 24/17 in connection with realizing illegal amount from the trucks loaded with sand and after departmental proceeding, he recommended his name to the Shahabad DIG for his dismissal.
It may be mentioned here that one constable Manoj Kumar had misbehaved with a seven year old girl student and also mugged her when she had gone to lavatory in the school campus on December 2, 2019 before the school over. The girl student ran away to the Headmaster of the school and narrated her ordeals. The Headmaster at once informed the DSP Raj Kumar about the incident and the DSP ordered the then HM Mahadev Thakur to arrest the constable Manoj Kumar and the constable was arrested. Later the DSP himself rushed to the school and got detailed reports from the girl, HM and the family members of the girls and said that the statement of the girl is enough to send the constable to jail. He also ordered the team of Riot Control Force stationed on the school campus for the last seven years, to wind up and report to the police station.
