TRUCK CRUSHED A YOUTH TO DEATH

ARA (RNI) A speeding truck laden with cement crushed a motorcycle borne youth to death on the Kayamnagar Underpass Service Road under Giddha police station on Ara-Patna main road and dragged him to some distance. Later the driver escaped from the scen. The deceased was identified as Santosh Singh Yadav 40 son of Ram Ishwar Singh of Sarathua village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased worked in a gas company at Giddha Industrial Area. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

SHO Giddha polie station said that Santosh Singh Yadav was going to Giddha on his motorcycle via Ara when cement laden truck from Ara dashed his motorcycle from behind on the Kayamnagar Underpass Service Road and dragged him with the motorcycle to some district and killed. The driver escaped  from the scene after the incident. On information, the Giddha police arrived at the spot and called Hydra after contacting the NHAI and lifted the truck. The police somehow took the body out from under the truck.
