TRACTOR DRIVER CRUSHED TO DEATH UNDER THE TRACTOR

BUXAR (RNI) One tractor driver crushed to death while one injured on Hethua-Bijauli main road under Rajpur police station in Buxar district after the tractor overturned on the road. The deceased was identified as Mahesh Ram son of Awadhesh Ram of Mangopur village. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

SHO Rajpur police station said that Mahesh Ram was driving the tractor of a farmer of Hethua village under Rajpur police station. He had uploaded soil from a field and was going to the house of a person in the village to down load the soil and when he reached near Hethua Pokhara, he towed the tractor to the side to allow the vehicle coming from behind to move forward. The road was single so he could not guess. Suddenly the wall of the road caved in and the tractor trolley loaded with soil slipped into the pit about five feet below due to which the engine became unbalanced and overturned along with the driver. The driver of the tractor came under the engine and died. The villagers removed the tractor with the help of JCB and pulled out the driver.
