ARA (RNI) Government of India launched ‘Tobacco Free Youth Campaign” across the country on September 24, 2024 that would continue till November 23, 2024 with main objective of to provide information regarding drug addition to the youth of the country. Be it the addition of ‘tobacco’ or ‘heroin’ or ‘cocaine’, ‘ganaj-bhang’, ‘alcohol’ or ‘soul offering’, all this not only destroys the persons but also tarnishes the image of the entire family.
The worrying thing is that the youth of the country are falling prey to the additions and the entire society watches the destruction of a young man who could have taken the country from great heights. Dr. Praveen Kumar Sinha, Nodal Officer, De-Addition Centre (ATF) appealed to all the residents of Bhojpur to encourage any person around them who is addicted to drugs and seek treatment at a drug de-addition centre. Instead of considering drug addiction as a stigma, consider it as a mental illness and support its treatment with full sympathy.
